An oil painting from life of resting Budgies (wild Parakeets) which I did while standing among the lively, colorful flock in their "natural" habitat exhibit at Zoo Atlanta. The original painting is part of the "Art Gone Wild" annual art show event fundraiser for the Zoo. The Budgie paintings capture a series of 7 different bird moods, which all complement each other and look fantastic as groupings.
